The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be joined by the Miami Dolphins for joint practices ahead of this Friday’s preseason game, and a rule of no fighting will be strictly enforced.

Teams have their fair share of skirmishes in practice, whether it’s a jointly held practice with another team or tempers flaring amongst teammates, but Arians will not play the physical nor the proverbial radio when it comes to fighting in his practices.
“Everything is just to get each other better, not to get anybody hurt. There will be absolutely no fighting. If you fight, you’re out of here. It’s just a matter of practicing against somebody to make you better and having good respect for each other.”
Arians will do this mainly to ensure everyone’s safety, but also to maintain focus in practice. There is no need for guys being out there getting hot-headed and coming to blows. I think it’s a good idea, and Arians is right for enforcing this kind of rule. Hopefully, everyone abides by it, and no one is sent packing with a fat lip.
