Although the Buccaneers took a beating last week, and Jameis Winston threw 3 interceptions – two for touchdowns – his 195 yards passing were good enough to surpass Vinny Testaverde’s franchise record of 14,820 passing yards.
Winston currently holds the Buccaneers franchise passing record with 14,822 and will continue to build that throughout the season. Mike Evans is another to watch out for as he is on pace to collect his 6th 1,000 yard passing season since coming into the league in 2014, which he will share with only one other receiver Randy Moss. He currently shares a record with Moss and AJ Green with five.
The Bucs head to Carolina to face the divisional rival Panthers and former teammates Gerald McCoy and Javien Elliot. The division showdown is a must-win for both teams coming off a week one loss.
