Outside of Japan, Dark Horse has confirmed that the 41st and last volume of Kentaro Miura’s Berserk will be published later this fall. Berserk’s last volume will be released as a trade paperback with a two-sided color poster insert on November 9th, for the first time in English. Season 3 of Berserk Has a Lot More to Offer than The Previous Two

berserk ending

Berserk is a three-decade-old manga series. As of mid-2020, there have been 40 volumes of manga published. So far, anime adaptations have just scratched the surface of the source material.

The Golden Age Arc was included in a 2012 film series that was based on the 1997 anime series. The 2016 adaptation, on the other hand, was a follow-up to the 2012 anime adaptation, however, it omitted the Lost Children Arc. The Falcon of the Millenium Empire story from the second season of 2017 came to an end with Chapter 301 of Volume 25.

There are 15 volumes in total that can be translated for the upcoming anime season, including several chapters that were skipped in prior volumes. As a result, Season 3 and succeeding seasons of Berserk will include a lot of source material. The remaining 57 chapters of the Falcon Of The Millenium Empire narrative will most likely be covered in future episodes. The third film might also be considered the start of the Fantasia SAGA.
