Infancy

On September 24, 1941, Linda McCartney was born in Scarsdale, New York.

John was her older brother, and Laura and Louise Jr. were her younger sisters.

When Louise Sara Eastman (née Lindner) was born, she was the daughter of a German-Jewish mother. In Cleveland, Ohio, Max J. Lindner, her maternal grandpa, founded a garment store called the “Lindner Company”.
