Brittany and Patrick Mahomes broke the news of their impending family expansion on Sunday. The parents can be seen in the adorable photographs wearing light blue hoodies with the words “Baby Mahomes Boy or Girl” spelled out across the front, which were made especially for PEOPLE. The circled word “Boy” is depicted in blue and pink on a T-shirt that their daughter is wearing.
Sterling Skye, a 16-month-old daughter of 26-year-olds Brittany and Patrick, is already a parent. In another picture, the couple is absent their little daughter as they embrace in front of a sign that has been squirted with blue liquid to denote the gender of their unborn child.

The happy couple also shared the wonderful news in a video montage on Instagram, where friends and family members offered their predictions for a boy or a girl. The football player splashed blue liquid from toy guns and then dove into a pool while wearing his uniform. In a joint Instagram post from late May, the couple revealed that the fitness instructor is expecting their second child.

The couple simply captioned their three images, which include an ultrasound photo, Brittany, the NFL player, and Sterling, “Round 2!” In the pictures, Sterling’s placard announcing her impending sibling reads, “Big sister duties… coming soon.”
Following their original engagement in September 2020 and subsequent Hawaii wedding, Brittany and Patrick announced the birth of their newest family member just two months later. In Whitehouse, Texas, at Whitehouse High School, they became friends.

Recently, Brittany said in a touching Instagram Story post that she “cannot wait to add another little darling” to her family. “It’s truly amazing to live with these two! I do, in fact, sometimes feel overwhelmed and worn out, but these two always make it all worthwhile, “Alongside a picture of the family flying in a private jet, she added. “I adore them and cannot wait to welcome another tiny kid.”
