To Protect His “tender Heart,” Todd and Julie Chrisley Advised Their 16-Year-Old Son Grayson
For his son Grayson, Todd Chrisley is watching out. Todd, 53, and his wife Julie, 49, are discussing how they supported their family after being recently found guilty of tax evasion and bank fraud.
Todd acknowledged that it’s been difficult for their 16-year-old son to concentrate on the good things rather than the hate they’re receiving on social media in a recent podcast episode of the duo’s show Chrisley Confessions.
Grayson is the sweetest kid and has the most vulnerable heart, according to Todd. “In a world like the one we currently live in, it is especially important to be cautious when dealing with someone as sensitive as Grayson. Considering that nobody cares if he feels hurt.”
The Todd Chrisley Knows Best actor subsequently revealed the counsel he gave Grayson: “You understand that you’re allowing someone that you’re never going to meet and their comment to affect your day, your mood, your self-worth, and who your family is.” The speaker continued, “I said, ‘If you would spend as much time listening to God as you do this message that someone sent, who has two followers and a cat as their emoji.'”
Julie further added, “It shouldn’t matter what someone else thinks of you. It’s important to understand who you truly are. Who you are as a person, as a partner, as a friend, as a parent, and as a kid.” The couple has discussed their convictions on the podcast in the past. They recently took the time to express their gratitude to their supporters for the outpouring of love.
“I want you all to know that the flower arrangements are among the gifts left at our doors along with the messages, letters, and flower arrangements that we receive. This is just too much information, “Added Todd. Before requesting that fans refrain from sending tangible gifts, the TV personality made sure to say that the generosity of Chrisley Knows Best fans is “very much appreciated.”
Todd Chrisley added, “We don’t want you sending us flowers. “You shouldn’t waste your money on things like that, please. We don’t need any of the presents and other things, you know.”
Todd urged supporters to turn to God and ask for help instead. “Prayer is actually the greatest gift you can give to us. In the midst of the storm we are experiencing, our family is faring as well as can be predicted.” Todd added that they’ll rely on their strength “We’ll keep our heads high and keep going. That’s essentially where things stand right now.” The family has received “tens of thousands of messages,” according to Todd, across social media and other channels.
